Comic Andy Samberg imitated the Happening star in a segment of the show called 'Mark Wahlberg Talks To Animals'.
The skit shows the actor speaking to an unresponsive dog, chicken, goat and donkey, saying: "Hey donkey, what's going on? You're a donkey, I like that. You eat apples, right? I produce Entourage. Talk to you later, donkey."
Speaking to the New York Post, Wahlberg said NBC's comedy show "hasn't been funny in a long time".
"Someone showed it to me on YouTube," Wahlberg commented. "It wasn't like Tina Fey doing Sarah Palin, that's for sure. And Saturday Night Live hasn't been funny for a long time.
"They've asked me to do the show a ton of times. I used to watch it when Eddie Murphy was there, and Joe Piscopo and Bill Murray. I don't even know who's on the show now."
