MRC halts 'Valentine', 'Easy Money'

Media Rights Capital has shut down production on Valentine and Easy Money, its two series for The CW, reports Variety.
The network contracted production company MRC to provide programmes for its Sunday night lineup in May, but disappointing ratings have forced the company to rethink its plans for the two shows.
Production on both series will be halted for four to six weeks to allow writers to catch up on the writing schedules, though MRC insisted that the hiatus was planned.
A spokesman for MRC said it will produce all 13 episodes of The CW's Valentine and Easy Money orders, but will keep a close eye on the shows' ratings in the upcoming weeks.
