Married Daily Show reporters Jason Jones and Samantha Bee will create and star in a sitcom for CBS.
According to Variety, the untitled comedy will star Jones as a celebrity chef whose cooking empire is run by Bee's character and another woman.
The pair have both signed separate holding deals with CBS and CBS Paramount Network TV.
Bee joined The Daily Show as a correspondent in 2003 and Jones followed in 2005.
The Comedy Central news satire has proved a strong launching pad for its stars, with Steve Carell, Rob Corddry, Ed Helms and Stephen Colbert all finding success elsewhere.
