NBC and Media Rights Capital are developing a TV remake of Jason And The Argonauts.
According to Variety, the proposed series would be the first ever greenscreen primetime drama.
Surface pair Josh and Jonas Pete will steer the new project, which has a put pilot order.
The MRC project landed at NBC after a heated bidding war with Fox. The network previously aired a Jason And The Argonauts miniseries in 2000, starring Frank Langella and Dennis Hopper.
Separate movie versions of the Greek myth, both titled The Argonauts, are also in development at 20th Century Fox and DreamWorks.
