De Niro signs TV deal with CBS

The Righteous Kill actor will develop three programmes for the network under his Tribeca Productions umbrella.
Tribeca partner Jane Rosenthal said that one show, to be written by The Departed scribe William Monahan, is "right in his wheelhouse".
"[It is] set squarely in New York. Bob [De Niro] and I are huge fans of his movies and the characters he writes," she said of Monahan.
"We wanted to stretch into television, and I worked at CBS and have a long friendship with [CBS President] Les Moonves. It felt like home."
