Palin appears on 'Saturday Night Live'

The politician had been previously lampooned by 30 Rock star Tina Fey on the programme. Some political analysts have claimed that Fey's spoofs will affect how people vote in next month's election.
Palin featured in a sketch in which Alec Baldwin confuses Palin with Fey, then proceeds to insult her.
She then replaced Fey at a mock conference and opened the show with its catchphrase: "I'm not gonna take any of your questions ... but I do wanna take this opportunity to say: 'Live, from New York, it's Saturday Night!'"
