The actress played Kelly Taylor in 1990s series Beverley Hills 90210 before moving on to its West Hollywood spinoff.
Garth, 36, has returned to the role in The CW's follow-on 90210, however, she told E! News that she will not be lured back to Melrose Place.
"I think they should keep it separate. And no, I don't want to do it," she said.
The show originally broadcast from 1992 to 1999, and plans are underway to introduce the new incarnation as early as next autumn.
