In 'Treehouse Of Horror XIX' - broadcast in the US yesterday - Homer visited a voting booth to support Obama but found that the touch-screen machine instead registered his vote for John McCain.
He continued to press the 'Obama' button, in the process registering support for McCain six times, before giving up and attacking the machine.
The episode will air on Sky1 in the UK this Sunday (November 9).
