ABC cuts 'Castle', 'Unusuals'

ABC has reduced episode orders for The Castle and The Unusuals, two of its new midseason dramas.
Castle, which stars Nathan Fillion as a bored mystery novelist who teams up with the NYPD to help solve crimes, has had its order knocked down from 13 to ten, says The Hollywood Reporter.
Similarly, ensemble police procedural The Unusuals has had its first season episode order cut.
Single With Parents, about a woman (Alyssa Milano) who is frustrated by her divorced parents' increasing reliance on her, has been axed completely by the network.
ABC sources have claimed that the reductions have been down to scheduling, with Lost and several new series - including Better Off Ted and The Goode Family - all penciled in to air midseason.
