The ex-Dawson's Creek actor will star opposite David Denman in the hour-long Kevin Falls project, which revolves around Adam, a self-centred agent who transforms into a woman and experiences life as a member of the opposite sex.
Van Der Beek will play Connor, a college friend of Adam and a colleague at the firm. Denman, known for his role as Roy Anderson in The Office, has been cast as a single dad still trying to recover from his divorce.
The show originated as the Argentinian telenovela Lalola.
