'About Last Night...', which aired in the US on Wednesday, claimed that this week's election result was a rouse. In the plot, Obama and rivals John McCain and Sarah Palin were seen working together in order to steal a valuable diamond.
The episode parodied the heist plot of Ocean's 11, with Obama as a smooth movie star and Palin speaking with a secret British accent.
It also suggested that the death of Obama's grandmother earlier this week was a hoax designed to allow the politicians to get closer to the diamond.
