The final episode of HBO's Sex And The City managed to successfully tie up a plot point that has been wavering for the show's six-season run; Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker) finally picked Mr. Big (Chris Noth) to be her beau; and indeed, vice versa.
Carrie told Aleksandr, with whom she had moved to Paris:
"I am someone who's looking for love, real love ... can't-live-without-each-other love and I don't think that love is here."
Meanwhile, Mr. Big has been hopping the Atlantic and arrives in Paris to find Carrie standing in her hotel lobby. He tells her:
"It took me a really long time to get here. But I'm here. Carrie, you're the one."
And so, with that wrapped up, Samantha (Kim Cattrall) apparently regains her sex drive and lets Smith know about it after they both tell each other how much in love they really are. Miranda remains settled with Steve, while Charlotte and Harry's dream comes true when they get the go-ahead to adopt a baby from China.
