Up-and-coming actress Ari Graynor has joined the cast of Fringe.
Graynor will guest star in the Fox science-fiction show as the younger sister of Agent Olivia Dunham (Anna Torv), according to Entertainment Weekly.
The character will make her first appearance in January and will be around for at least three episodes.
An insider said: "She's dealing with some man trouble back home. But the exact nature of that trouble isn't clear."
Graynor's other TV credits include guest roles in The Sopranos, CSI: Miami and Numb3rs.
