Oprah: 'Sarah Palin turned me down'

The talkshow host said that she was puzzled as to why Palin agreed to interviews with fellow US TV hosts Greta Van Susteren, Matt Lauer and Larry King but not her.
Winfrey, a Barack Obama supporter, suggested that Palin may change her mind about coming on her show when her memoirs are released.
"I said I would be happy to talk to Sarah Palin when the election was over," Winfrey said. "I went and tried to talk to Sarah Palin and instead she talked to Greta. She talked to Matt. She talked to Larry. But she didn't talk to me. Maybe she'll talk to me now that she has a [multi-million dollar] book deal."
