Rep denies T.R. Knight 'Grey's' rumours

A show representative has denied that T.R. Knight is quitting Grey's Anatomy.

Knight, who plays Dr. George O'Malley in the medical drama, was reported to have walked off set after reading a new storyline for his character.

A writer on gossip website CrazyDaysAndNights said: "I got a little more information from my source and they say, '[Knight] hasn't attended table reads since episode two.

"He is p***ed and miserable and thinks his storyline is stupid. He said goodbye to his hair and make-up people last week.

"He says he is done and has quit. ABC has not released him. Shonda Rhimes, the producer, called him and he told her he had nothing to say. He has packed his dressing room.'"

A spokesperson for the show denied the reports. "T.R. has never walked off set in the middle of filming," they said.

"He attended the table read today and will be shooting this week, like any other week of production."
