CBS claims 15-year daytime ratings win

CBS announced today that its daytime programme lineup has placed first in the ratings battle for the 780th consecutive week, equating to fifteen years in the number one spot.
Les Moonves, CBS chairman and CEO, said:
"Getting to Number One is no small feat — staying there for 15 years is nothing short of phenomenal. This accomplishment is a tremendous source of pride to the Network. We extend our gratitude to all the talented performers, writers, producers, craftsman and staff who made this unprecedented winning streak possible."
The Price Is Right and The Young and the Restless proved to be the first and second most popular shows on network TV during daytime season-to-date.
