It was reported in October that the '90s soap drama is being resurrected by the CW network, which houses Beverly Hills 90210 spinoff 90210.
"Melrose Place will shoot a pilot during the regular pilot season," said a source.
Actress Jennie Garth previously revealed that she will not participate in the revival, saying: "I think they should keep it separate. And no, I don't want to do it."
Melrose Place originally ran from 1992 until 1999.
