'Will & Grace' spinoff 'just a rumour'
Published Thursday, Dec 18 2008, 06:24 GMT | By Michael Thornton
Eric McCormack has denied reports that a Will & Grace spinoff series is in development.
Speculation earlier this year suggested that a spinoff sitcom would follow the characters Jack, played by Sean Hayes, and Megan Mullally's Karen.
McCormack, who played Will, has dismissed the talk as pure fantasy, saying: "To my knowledge, there's no talk of that. It's all just a fun rumour."
Will And Grace was cancelled by NBC in 2006 after eight seasons.
