The show, which is based around a well-endowed struggling high school basketball coach, is expected to launch in June. Thomas Jane plays the lead.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Alexander Payne, who helmed the pilot, will return to exec produce the series.
Writers Dmitry Lipkin and Colette Burson have already penned five episodes of the show.
"It has its sexual moments, but the show is very much about what's happening in the country, how people are trying to survive using what God had given them," said Lipkin.
