'Fringe' filming halted by hotel strike

The sci-fi show's cast and crew arrived at the Crown Plaza Hotel to shoot scenes but were told that they would have to move location due to employee walkouts.
The Crown Plaza's staff had taken industrial action over benefits and contracts, meaning that Fringe was forced to change filming plans.
A Hotel Workers Union rep told PageSix: "We caught them early in the morning and they promised they wouldn't film. It's mostly union folks working on the show, so they understood."
