Locklear courted for 'Melrose' remake?

The actress played advertising executive Amanda Woodward in the soap and an insider revealed that producers are eager for her to reprise the role.
"The CW is courting Heather Locklear," a source told E! News. "I don't think anyone else from the original has been approached yet."
The insider also revealed that auditions for the show have started, with casting announcements expected later this month.
One Tree Hill creator Mark Schwahn is penning the pilot episode, which is expected to debut later this year.
Melrose Place originally aired for seven seasons from 1992 to 1999.
