NBC readies '10.5' for May premiere

NBC will air a four-hour disaster-themed miniseries during May, it was announced today.
10.5 will premiere on Sunday, May 2 from 9-11pm ET, with the final part airing on Monday night from 9pm ET. The mini-series event will follow the actions of Dr. Samantha Hill, played by Kim Delaney (NYPD Blue), a seismologist charged with saving the lives of everyone on America's western coastline which is threatened by a series of earthquakes that could permanently separate the western coast from the rest of the USA.
President Paul Hollister will be played by Beau Bridges (The Agency), with Roy Nolan - executive director of the Federal Emergency Management Agency - being played by Fred Ward (Sweet Home Alabama).
