NBC acquires Bush musical 'Soundtrack'

NBC and Jared Bush have teamed up for hour-long musical drama Soundtrack.
The show will revolve around a down-on-his-luck protagonist who begins to hear a song repeating in his head. When he realises its significance, it is replaced by another track.
"I was trying to find a way to combine TV and music in an organic way," Bush told Variety. "What we come to realise in the show is this guy has been given an opportunity to start his life over, and this music will help him find a way to become truly happy."
Music supervisor Dana Sano has also signed up for the project.
Bush previously worked on TV series All Of Us and Baby Bob.
