CNN hires new Atlanta-based anchor

CNN has hired a new Atlanta-based anchor for its domestic network.
Betty Nguyen is moving from KTVT-11 in Dallas to begin work at CNN on April 26.
Princell Hair, executive VP and general manager of CNN/U.S., said: "Betty impressed viewers in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and across Texas with her skills as a journalist and her on-air presence. We’re confident that she will do the same with CNN’s national audience."
