Duff attached to NBC's 'Barely Legal'

The network has ordered a script for the half-hour comedy based on the true story of Kathleen Holtz, who passed the California bar exams at the age of 18 to become the state's youngest lawyer.
Former Lizzie McGuire star Duff has come on board as part of her talent deal with NBC and Universal Media Studio.
Numb3rs star Rob Morrow is developing the project and will also executive produce.
Elisa Bell, who wrote Brittany Murphy movie Little Black Book, will pen the script.
