NBC insists 'SNL' will air live

NBC is insisting that Saturday Night Live will continue its tradition of airing live on the East Coast, even with Janet Jackson hosting.
Jackson, of course, was involved in the now-infamous "nipplegate" incident during the Super Bowl halftime show that has led to debate in America over indecency regulations in broadcasting. Many shows have opted to air on a tape-delay, most notably the Oscars ceremony.
NBC however is promising that viewers will not be seeing the antics on SNL with a tape delay. Promo spots airing on TV for the show even say, "...anything could happen as long as it meets FCC guidelines."
