Hugh Bonneville joins Kelley's 'Mad'

Hugh Bonneville has been added to the cast of David E. Kelley's new NBC drama Legally Mad.

The British actor will star opposite Charity Wakefield in the Warner Bros. legal drama. Broadway actress Kristin Chenoweth is also among the cast.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Bonneville will play Gordon Hamm, whose daughter Brady (Wakefield) comes to work at his law firm.

"Gordon Hamm is based on the true story of a real-life attorney who lives in my head," said Kelley. "Sharp litigator, a lot of fun and, deep down, a mess.

"Hugh is one of the most versatile actors working today. [He is] a terrific coup."
