FX to air 'Nip/Tuck' premiere ad-free

The premiere of Nip/Tuck's second season on the US cable channel FX will air commercial free, it has been confirmed.

Instead, a product placement deal has been reached with XM Satellite Radio.

"It's refreshing to partner with a progressive marketer like XM Satellite Radio who understands the value of finding new ways to stand out in an increasingly crowded marketplace," said Bruce Lefkowitz, head of sales for Fox Cable Entertainment.
