Next 'Real World' to be set in Cancun
Published Monday, Jan 26 2009, 09:31 GMT | By Simon Reynolds

Participants in the 22nd run will head to the Mexican coastal city, a popular party resort, where they will team up with website StudentCity.com to work as guides for college students during spring break, says The Hollywood Reporter.
Co-creator Jonathan Murray said: "They're going to help give people a safe and fun vacation. They also might have to bail somebody out of a Mexican jail, stuff like that."
Murray added that taking the show to Mexico will provide contrast to the "gritty" Brooklyn setting of the current season.
Real World producers are already familiar with the location, having filmed the unscripted movie The Real Cancun there in 2003.
