According to the New York Daily News, Baldwin offered the actress a cameo role in the NBC comedy at Sunday night's SAG awards.
However, a representative for Baldwin told Access Hollywood that the rumours are untrue.
"Alec and Ms. Streep did not discuss any guest appearance on 30 Rock", he said. "Perhaps someone confused the fact that they are shooting a film together this spring with something else."
Streep and Baldwin are slated to appear together in Nancy Meyer's upcoming untitled romantic comedy.
