The Mike Fleiss-produced series will see an older woman look for love from a group of younger men over eight episodes.
Fox said: "I'm so excited to be the guide for The Cougar's quest for love.
"This show will prove to be empowering and enlightening for women everywhere. Plus, 20 hot guys gathered under one roof doesn't hurt."
The first episode of the show will hit US screens on April 15.
Fox has recently been seen in HBO's Curb Your Enthusiasm, playing Larry David's new love interest Loretta Black.
