HBO hands 'Big Love' fourth season

The critically-acclaimed show, which is executive produced by Tom Hanks, has seen an increase in ratings week-on-week, with the most recent episode recording a 29% leap in viewers since the season opener.
"The stellar reviews and solid viewership this season confirm that this is a signature series for HBO. The series keeps getting better and better," said Michael Lombardo, president of programming at HBO.
Production on the fourth season is expected to begin later this year with a slated 2010 air date.
