'Lipstick' star cast in 'Eastwick'

Lindsay Price has been cast as one of the three witches in the upcoming ABC pilot Eastwick, it has emerged.

The Lipstick Jungle star will play one of the lead roles in the Maggie Friedman-penned show based on the 1987 feature film adaptation of John Updike's novel The Witches of Eastwick, The Hollywood Reporter says.

It suggests that the news has reduced the chances of Lipstick Jungle returning for a third season.

Price will join Jaime Ray Newman, who has been cast as another of the trio of Wiccans.

Earlier this month, it emerged that Supernatural pilot director David Nutter would helm the show.
