'Scrubs' star cast in 'The Law'

Donald Faison has joined the cast of ABC's comedy pilot The Law, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The actor - best known for his role as Turk in Scrubs - will join Madchen Amick and Cedric The Entertainer for the project.

The show revolves around reserve LAPD officers who balance their full-time off-duty lives with the excitement of being weekend cops.

Faison has also appeared in Kim Possible and The Bernie Mac Show.
