The Samantha Who actress, who was cast in the show earlier this week, will no longer play Michelle Paxon in the third season.
She will be replaced by Journeyman's Moon Bloodgood in the role of Jeffrey Donovan's arch nemesis.
Bloodgood has also appeared in CSI and Day Break.
