VH1 revives 'Behind The Music'

The series originally ran from 1997-2002. Last autumn, VH1 aired a 90-minute New Kids On The Block Behind The Music special.
VH1 decided to bring the series back when focus groups found that it is so deeply associated with the channel that some viewers assumed that it had never stopped running, says The Hollywood Reporter.
"It felt like the time is right. There's all sorts of new artists on the scene who have emerged and have these great stories," said Jeff Olde, vice-president of original programming.
Lil Wayne and Scott Weiland have both signed on for episodes during the series's new run. Executives have also said that they are close to agreements with several other artists.
