Speaking to The Sun, executive producers James L. Brooks and Al Jean admitted that the Democratic leader and the British star were at the top of their celebrity guest wishlist.
"We’d love to have Barack on the show," said Brooks. "No president has agreed to do it yet but we’ll keep asking. We’re putting all the right signals out."
Brand, who was recently linked to the fourth instalment in the Pirates Of The Caribbean franchise, has also emerged as a favourite to appear in the animated series.
"[He is] very funny," said Jean. "I would definitely be interested in writing an episode around him."
The producers added that they would love former President George W. Bush to parody himself in the animated series.
