Published Monday, Jul 19 2004, 12:52 BST | By Neil Wilkes
Rumours are abound over the possibility of a new Star Trek spinoff.
According to various reports, long-time exec producers Rick Berman and Brannon Braga have teamed up with Jordan Kerner and Kerry McCluggage for the new project.
Set before any of the five television series, it would focus on a group of cadets at Starfleet Academy.
Paramount is said to be looking for a "re-imagining" of the concept, which could be a feature or a full-blown series.
