The Entourage star's latest venture aims to explore 21st century media and its impact on society.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the idea for the project came while Matthew Cooke edited Grenier's previous project Teenage Paparazzi.
Cooke said of Spin: "I thought it would be cool to do a documentary about our relationship to the technology of communications and how it changed us."
Spin is apparently about to go into production as a feature-length documentary but is also being eyed as a TV movie/pilot.
