The talkshow host decided to cancel the portion of the programme titled '10 Years Later: The Truth About Columbine' for being "too focused" on the two shooters Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold, who killed 13 people during the April 20, 1999 attack in Colorado, E! reports.
"Today, hold a thought for the Columbine community. This is a hard day for them," Winfrey said in a statement on her website.
The segment will be replaced by 'Released From Prison: A Mum of 3 Goes Home', which sees correspondent Lisa Ling follow a woman putting her life together after serving prison time on pornography charges.
