A weekend report suggested that NBC had given the series a new 13-episode order, but the show's producer dismissed the story.
"The rumours are untrue," Schwartz is quoted as saying. "We have not heard anything nor do we expect to for a little while longer.
"So keep spreading the word, getting your friends to watch Monday and thank you for the amazing support so far."
The season two finale airs in the US tonight at 8pm on NBC.
