American all-sports network ESPN has given the green light to a scripted drama set in Las Vegas.

"The launch of our next drama underscores ESPN’s commitment to scripted entertainment," explained ESPN's EVP of Programming and Production, Mark Shapiro. "Capitalizing on the incredible popularity of the World Series of Poker and Playmakers, Tilt promises to put the audience at the table and into the lives of the characters."

Tilt - a gambling drama - will air Thursday nights at 9pm ET beginning in mid-January.
