The actress, who plays Jenny Humphrey in the CW drama, told Nylon that masses of younger fans were tempted to cut class in order to watch the programme being filmed on-location in New York.
"There are hundreds of people outside. It's pretty intense. When we started it was really calm, but all of a sudden it got insane," she explained.
"All the kids ditched their classes to come out and watch, and we had principals yelling at us because we were taking their kids out of class. I was like, 'Oh my God, I'm an actress! It's not my fault!'"
Discussing the future of the programme, the 15-year-old added: "All I can say is that everyone else is moving on - Jenny's going to be the only one still in high school, since everyone else will be in college.
"Whatever they end up doing, I'm sure there's going to be lots of drama."
