Donald Trump will return to fire more stars in the ninth season of the reality series, which is scheduled to air in spring 2010.
This season's Apprentice has performed well for the network, averaging 8.6m viewers each week.
The renewal marks a run of celebrity-based reality shows. Last month, the network announced that it is reviving I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!
