Nielsen announces new ratings data

New estimates out from Nielsen Media Research - the American equivalent of UK ratings measurement body BARB - indicate that 109.6m TV households now exist in the USA.
That figure is up from 108.4m in 2003 and 106.7m in 2002. The number is used to calculate ratings points - one ratings point represents one percent of the total number of TV households.
