Ashton Kutcher's new animated web series is heading for television, according to Variety.

The site claims that Blah Girls will debut on TV as a series of one-minute interstitials on the entertainment newsmag strip The insider.

If successful, CBS and Kutcher's Katalyst Films may expand the show, about three pop culture-obsessed teens, into its own half-hour series.

"We always saw this property living on multiple platforms," said Katalyst co-founder Jason Goldberg. "And the Blah Girls is a perfect fit for The Insider. It matches their attitude."
