ABC has picked up a new comedy from the creator of Scrubs for next season.
Bill Lawrence's Cougar Town stars Courteney Cox as a newly-single mother to a 17-year-old son.
The network has also given an order to Happy Town, a new murder mystery drama from the creators of October Road.
