As previously reported, Zach Braff has signed up to appear in six episodes of the new season to help transition the show to its new set-up.
Sarah Chalke is also expected to return for several episodes, while the show's regular cast - including Donald Faison, John C. McGinley and Neil Flynn - have closed deals to continue as regulars.
Judy Reyes, who plays Carla Espinosa in the medical comedy, has not been approached, but may guest star in the new season.
