'Monsters Vs. Aliens' gets TV series

DreamWorks Animation CEO Jeffrey Katzenberg revealed the news at the 37th Annual J.P. Morgan Technology, Media and Telecom Conference yesterday.
The announcement follows last week's agreement between DreamWorks and Nickelodeon to produce a Kung Fu Panda series. The two companies are also working on a Shrek TV movie and Panda special for NBC.
Monsters Vs. Aliens, which featured the voices of Reese Witherspoon, Kiefer Sutherland and Seth Rogen, reached number one at the UK box office earlier this year.
