'Happy Days' cast to reunite
Published Saturday, Sep 11 2004, 11:35 BST | By Daniel Kilkelly
The cast of Happy Days are set to reunite for the show's 30th anniversary.
A two-hour tribute show will air later this year, and many of the original cast members, including Henry Winkler, who played Arthur "The Fonz" Fonzarelli, have already agreed to appear.
Winkler explained, "[The show] was so successful because it recreated a period in American history in which the importance of family values, loyalty and honour were the cornerstones of our everyday life.
"Those qualities may seem schmaltzy to some and old-fashioned to others, but, I believe deep inside all of us is a longing for a return to those Happy Days."
